Deepfake Video: Kajol Viral On Social Media | Rashmika Mandanna Deepfake Video

Kajol Viral On Social Media: There’s a video going around on Facebook, X (which used to be Twitter), and YouTube that seems to show Bollywood actress Kajol changing clothes. But actually, experts found out it’s not her—it’s a fake video made using technology. Instead, it’s someone who’s famous on social media. People are getting worried about these kinds of fake videos, especially after another video of actress Rashmika Mandanna also became really popular.

Deepfake Video: Kajol Viral On Social Media

A fact-checking website called BOOM found out that the real video was actually of a different person who’s popular on social media, not Kajol. They discovered that someone had used technology to change the face in the video to make it look like Kajol. In the fake video, you can see the real person’s face for a short moment. The original video was posted on TikTok on June 5 as part of a trend called ‘Get Ready With Me.’ But the report doesn’t say who originally made the video.

Fake videos, pictures and even voice recordings, known as deepfakes, are becoming a big problem. They’re used to make fake adult content and spread false information. This is a big issue for society. After a fake video of Bollywood actress Rashmika Mandanna caused a lot of concern, the Indian government told big social media sites to act fast and remove these fake things. They want the sites to take down these fakes within 36 hours of someone complaining about them. But the laws about these fake things made by computers might not be strong enough right now.

What is Deepfake?

Deepfakes are fake media, such as videos, images, or audio recordings, created using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning techniques. These technologies manipulate or superimpose existing images, videos, or audio onto another, often generating highly realistic but entirely fabricated content. Deepfakes can mimic individuals’ appearances, voices, and mannerisms, making it seem like they’re saying or doing things they never actually did. Unfortunately, they’re often used to create misleading or false content, causing concerns about their potential for spreading misinformation or forgeries.
